2019: We left home with the wide-eyed ambition of exploring the world in our Troopy. We’d spend a year looping Australia before shipping to Vancouver; our eyes set on the drive from Alaska to Argentina.

2021: One pandemic and series of lockdowns later, we’ve looped half of Australia. Our grand plans haven’t worked out of course, but from the Coral Sea to the Simpson Desert, we’ve made it work for us. We’ve had the adventure of a lifetime with the incredible experience of an empty Australia we’ll likely never see again.

2022: Two years on the road and 57,000kms later, we returned home to Victoria. The intent was to reconnect with our ‘home’ and take advantage of a re-opening world for distant, international adventures. This, we would discover, would be a heavy struggle.

2023: We’ve moved closer to what brings us joy: the ocean, the rainforest and the mountains. Our itch to explore and our drive to create is returning: soon we’ll be able to share what’s next.
